Feb. 1 Sustainability Group
May Meet Early to Join Event in Northampton
Suggested gathering time to carpool • 5 pm at Church on Main St.

At the last sustainability meeting those of us who were there discussed showing "Rise Like Lions", a film about the first 2+ months of the Occupy movement as a point of discussion at the next meeting on Feb. 1.

But now it appears that this very evening a busload of OWS members who are doing a monthlong trip through the North East to help organize for springtime will happen to be in Northampton that same night. So I'm suggesting we get some carloads of interested people to head down there for what they are calling OccuCinema at the Academy of Music followed by discussion -- exactly what we were planning. There's the potential for quite a number of people to show up, so it could be inspiring, educational and network building.

They are also planning events for the following day, February 2, so people could consider whether they want to go back the next day, too. The flyer says 6pm for events to begin Feb 1.

So I would suggest meeting at 5 pm at the church for whomever wants to go. But if that's too early for some people, we could also organize a few cars leaving at different times. What do you think?
